Sometimes, when trying to log in, 2FA app on the device shows “Incorrect Code” error. One of the most common reasons for this error is that the time on your Google Authenticator app is not synchronized correctly. To synchronize the time, please follow the instructions below.
First, check if the time on your computer is set correctly.
On Android:
- Go to the Main Menu on the app
- Select Settings
- Select Time correction for codes
- Select Sync now
On iOS:
- Go to the iPhone Settings app (your phone settings area)
- Select General
- Select Date & Time
- Enable Set Automatically
- If it’s already enabled, disable it, wait a few seconds and re-enable
